PICK A GOLFER EACH WEEKOverviewFor each PGA TOUR event of the Contest, you may change one of your four golfer selections. To pick your new golfer each week via the Internet, click the PICK GOLFERS link on the Contest website, login using your user ID and password (if you haven't already done so), select the new golfer for the upcoming week’s tournament, submit your selection and record the confirmation number you receive. Once the Contest begins, after August 27, 2009, you can only change one of your four golfers for each PGA TOUR event of the FedExCup playoffs. Deadlines for Picking Golfers and Tournament ScheduleYour new golfer selection must be submitted by 4 AM ET on the day of the start of the week’s event. Thus the deadlines for each event are:
SCORINGOverviewFor each PGA TOUR event of the FedExCup playoffs, FedExCup points are accumulated by your corresponding team of four golfers. Scoring SystemPoints are accumulated weekly for each of your four selected golfers based on the FedExCup points earned in the corresponding event. If one or more of your golfers fails to advance to the next tournament, your team will no longer receive any additional points from the eliminated golfers(s). You may replace an eliminated golfer with a new golfer, and you will receive points from the new golfer from tournaments following the changes as long as the new golfer remains on your team and is not eliminated. NOTE: You can only replace one golfer for each tournament. Only FedExCup points from the following four events count:
To determine standings, all teams in the Contest and all teams in their respective leagues are sorted by their accumulated points. The team with the highest point total finishes first and the team with the lowest point total finishes last. Final standings and prize winners will be determined after the results of the tournament played September 24-27, 2009. FedExCup points earned prior to The Barclays event, FedExCup points earned by a golfer before being added to your team, and FedExCup points earned by a golfer after being dropped from your team do not contribute to your team's total points. |
